MoI: Adhering to social distancing key to controlling spread of COVID-19

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has stressed on the importance of adhering to social distancing in order to control the spread of the coronavirus.
“Your commitment to social distancing will contribute to controlling the spread of coronavirus and enhances safety. Help limit the spread of the coronavirus by maintaining a distance of at least two metres between you and others,” the Ministry tweeted.
The Ministry has reminded people also of the importance of safety measures to control the spread of the coronavirus, including keeping a distance of not less than two meters between people.”
On its official websites, the Ministry posted a number of tweets asking people to adhere to the precautionary measures issued by authority concerned such as staying at home, wearing facemasks when leaving home.
It also stressed on the importance of “avoiding all types of gathering and to report to authorities concerned in case of any violations.”
The Ministry said that “Your commitment to social distancing in these circumstances contributes to limit the spread of coronavirus and enhances safety.”
Many entities in the country also advised people not to leave the house except for the extreme necessity while stressing the importance of adhering to all preventive measures and procedures to protect themselves from virus infection.
The work of many police patrols these days is based on awareness about the prevention from the virus, especially the decisions taken by the Cabinet, such as wearing masks, number of passengers in the vehicle and install Ehteraz app.
