Qabayan Radio, PIA Qatar Sign Collaboration Agreement

Doha, Qatar – Qabayan Radio 94.3 FM and the Philippine Institute of Architects (PIA) Qatar have signed a one-year collaboration agreement to promote factual and reliable information dissemination and community programs that benefit Filipinos in Qatar.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Qabayan Radio Office in Al Muntazah, Doha, Qatar, representatives from both organizations gathered as Mr. Glend “Cody” Tesio, Station Manager of Qabayan Radio 94.3 FM, and Arch. Rouel P. Sulit, President of PIA Qatar, formally signed the agreement.

The partnership benefits both organizations: Qabayan Radio provides training and media exposure for PIA Qatar, while PIA Qatar strengthens the station using enhanced digital engagement, active volunteer involvement, and collaboration on community projects. This mutual support aims to increase both groups' impact in information dissemination, community engagement, volunteer journalism, and public service initiatives.

The one-year agreement reflects the shared vision of both organizations to strengthen cooperation and serve the Filipino community in Qatar.
