RJ John

A typical hip-hop head, John’s passion for music started at a very young age when he would hear his mom sing while cleaning the house. Although his favorite genre is Hip Hop music, his musical influences span from the Beatles to Slipknot. He is an Audio Engineering graduate who tried his hands at Emceeing in The Philippines, Singapore and Canada. He also has dozens of unreleased Hip Hop songs which he composed himself. When he’s not burning through ink and paper, you can find him lighting up the airwaves in Qabayan Radio 94.3. Catch him on The Morning Grind, 6:00 - 9:00 am.

RJ Cody

Seasoned in the industry, he’s the talent behind producing on-air content like commercials, stingers, and plugs for radio. He’s the friendly guy next door, balancing seriousness with a touch of joviality. In the Philippines, he enjoyed fishing, road trips, and island hopping. Though he loves basketball, his height didn’t quite match up, so he channels his frustrations through playing guitar. A quick look into his eyes will reveal even more about him.

On air, he brings a mix of fun, intriguing, and quirky facts and trivia. Catch him on The Mid-Day Jam from 9:00am to 12:00pm, Sundays through Thursdays, and tune in to The Weekend Wrap-up on Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm for the Top 10 Most Requested Songs of the Week.

RJ Colline

By day, Colline is a design engineer, blending technology with creativity. By night, she’s your go-to radio jock with a lifelong passion for music—especially ones with relatable lyrics. She brings a blend of energy and insight to the airwaves where she talks about latest movies and series, explores everyday questions, and curates the perfect soundtrack to wind down your day.

Tune in to “The Aftershift” Sun-Tue-Thur at 6:00 - 9:00 PM for her dynamic personality, love for storytelling, and the freshest tunes to accompany your evening on the airwaves.

RJ Icee

Icee is an outgoing radio jockey who’s always on the go, balancing her love for creativity, connection, and great music. With a passion for making every moment count, she seamlessly shifts between her roles—whether she’s on the airwaves, in front of the camera as a model, or on stage in a theater production. Off the mic, she enjoys some comfy downtime where she can unwind and recharge, but you’ll often find her busy with new projects that fuel her artistic spirit.

Her shows are all about bringing a mix of fun and authenticity, creating an atmosphere where listeners can truly relax and express themselves. She’s known for her warm, engaging personality and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. You can catch her on air every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00 - 6:00 pm on The Playground.

RJ Charles

Born in Manila, raised in Qatar, Charles has always had a passion for music! Ever since he was a kid, he always had an interest in singing and listening to music. Growing up with a family full of music-heads, Charles has grown to appreciate any type of genre. May it be from the oldies, to the newest pop songs! Add that to his extended experience in public speaking, from being a delegate at QatarDebate to the Model United Nations (MUN), and you get the Charles you hear today!

If Charles is not on air he’s probably tinkering around cars, working on learning a different language, or learning something new for himself! When he’s on air, however, you can catch him on ‘OnQ’ from 12-3 PM, ‘the Aftershift’ from 6-9 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as on Saturday from 12-3 PM!

RJ Carl McFly

Carl McFly, “ang soy-ti na noy-pi” who hails from the inner reaches of Manila in the Philippines is a certified veteran Radio DJ and is the former lead vocalist of famed Philippine rock band Alamid. During his stints back home over the years, he is one of the most sought after Events Host and Voice Over for Special Functions ranging from the barangays to Malacanang and everything in between. Also a former TV commercial model and a truly versatile live performer on and off stage.

His love and passion for music all his life has led all roads to lead him to a new journey in Doha to bring his brand of entertainment to all audiences in the Filipino community. Multi-talented as he is in his crafts, he is humbled and ecstatic to join the privileged ranks of RJ’s in Qabayan Radio.

RJ Millie G

An artist at heart with a deep love for music, Music has been a huge part of my life growing up in a musically inclined family. My passion for creativity led me to study Multimedia Arts, which has shaped how I approach my radio shows, blending music and storytelling in a way that feels personal and engaging. Beyond the mic, I’ve also worked as a chef, where I’ve been able to channel my creativity in a completely different way. Whether I’m spinning tracks or cooking up something special, I bring my love for art, music, and creativity into everything I do.

DJ Ada is a powerhouse behind the decks, delivering electrifying sets that blend World Music (Arabic & Bollywood), House, Hip-Hop, R&B, Baile Funk, Techno, and Drum & Bass into seamless, dynamic experiences. Her ability to read a crowd and adapt her mixes ensures every performance is unforgettable. Having collaborated with numerous international DJs, she has honed her craft across diverse sounds and settings, perfecting the art of immersive musical storytelling.

As a Radio Jockey on Qabayan Radio 94.3, Ada curates playlists that resonate deeply, combining Filipino classics, global hits, and modern anthems. Whether spinning tracks or hosting a radio show, her deep musical intuition and connection with audiences make her stand out.

Ada isn’t just playing music—she’s creating moments, ensuring every beat counts and every mix tells a story.
