From 2025 to 2029 the T100 Triathlon World Championship Final to be held in Doha Visit Qatar, the Professional Triathletes Organisation, World Triathlon, and the Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation have announced the hosting of the Triathlon World Championship Finals Qatar T100 from 2025 to 2029. This comes as part of a five-year partnership agreement between Visit Qatar and the Professional Triathletes Organisation. The inaugural  Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final will be held from December 11th - 13th, 2025. The swim leg will take place in the Arabian Gulf, while the bike and run legs will navigate through Doha and Lusail, passing several iconic landmarks such as the Lusail Stadium. The multisport festival weekend will also offer a series of swim, bike, and run events for amateurs, including the chance for amateur athletes to participate in the new 100km triathlon distance (2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run) alongside the best professional triathletes in the world. Assalam Schools represent a second chance at life for children like 15-year-old Mohammad, who arrived in Qatar from Syria in 2022. Joining the Fifth Assalam School in Grade 7, alongside his siblings in Grades 5 and 1, he rediscovered his love for learning. 10 December 2024 – Doha, Qatar  – Legendary Filipino rock band  Eraserheads  has arrived in Doha ahead of their highly anticipated concert on Friday, 13 December 2024, marking the final Middle East stop of their  'Huling El Bimbo'  World Tour 2024 . The band touched down at Hamad International Airport (HIA) past 2:00 PM, with fans and supporters eagerly awaiting their arrival. The concert is being presented by  Qatar Calendar ,  Qabayan Radio 94.3 FM ,  WEU Event Management & Services , and  DVent Productions . This historic event is also supported and powered by Bo’s Coffee , Papa John’s , and Dairy Queen .   Upon arrival, the  Eraserheads  entourage was warmly greeted by officials from  Qabayan Radio , the first and only Filipino radio station in Qatar. Doha, Qatar - November 4, 2024  — Qabayan Radio’s Managing Director, Mr. Salim Kainikkara, and QNCC CEO, Mr. Mohammed Al Naimi, inked an agreement today to host the highly anticipated “Huling El Bimbo” World Tour by the legendary Filipino band Eraserheads at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Education City. The event, scheduled for December 13, 2024, promises to be a major highlight in Doha’s entertainment calendar before 2024 ends. This marks another significant collaboration between Qabayan Radio and QNCC. Earlier this year, on April 11, QNCC hosted the sold-out Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo concert, a landmark event that cemented Qabayan Radio’s reputation as a top-tier event organizer for the Filipino community in Qatar.
