Ayon sa Article 75 ng Law No. 14 of 2004 o mas kilala sa tawag na Qatar Labor Law (as amended), ang mga manggagawa ay may karapatan para sa isang kompletong (24 consecutive hours) araw na pahinga, kadalasan ay Biyernes, maliban sa ibang mga manggagawa na may tinatawag na 'shift timings'.
