Can money buy happiness? If not, what the point of it?
Money cannot buy happiness. True that. However money can buy freedom. That freedom brings choices. And those make us happy. Running after money isn't what life is about. How even optimizing your money in a way that gives you the freedom it disires, is certainly what life is about.
Scarcity of money and resources signals to our survival, according to neuroscience. We may never know if there is a limit to how much income can influence happiness. While income levels can influence happiness. A person true sense of emotional well being is ultimately determined by their life circumstances, values, and personal needs.
Money gave me a plate full if dessert that kept me happy for an entire day.
