Qatar Rail announced in a tweet that it will reinstate carriage classifications - Gold, Family, and Standards starting 23 Dec 2022. It can be recalled that these classifications were suspended starting Nov 11, 2022 to increase the train capacity during the tournament.
Meanwhile it also announced a change to its regular service hours starting today. The metro will operate from 5:30am to 11:59 pm from Sunday to Wednesday while on Thursday it will operate from 5:30 am to 1am. On Friday the service will begin at 2pm until 1am and on Saturday it will be operational from 6am to 11:59pm.
